Here is a little bit about myself.
I am a mother of two and a devoted wife.
In the not too distant past I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I majored in sculpture with a focus on functional design. After graduation I pursued the art of creating fine furniture and was accepted to an apprenticeship program with an established furniture maker, Michael Maxwell, http://www.maxwellfurniture.com/home.htm in Virginia. After my apprenticeship I moved back home and worked at a growing church as a cabinetmaker. It was here that I met my husband and a year later we were married. At this point in my life my priorities changed and I wanted to start a family; although in the future I would love to pursue my dream of being a fine furniture maker.
Currently we are living internationally due to my husband’s job. I started this blog as a way to keep friends and family updated on our many travels and also the children’s lives. I have two beautiful children Asia and Elijah. My oldest, Asia, has Down Syndrome. She is such a blessing in our lives. We were nervous about having a second child but thank goodness we did. Elijah is healthy boy and a blessing and joy as well.
Besides being a mom and spending time with my family I enjoy traveling, reading, writing, shopping, and watching movies. My all-time favorite comedy is Caveman.
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy!

I’m so excited to see this – haven’t seen everything yet but THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this for all of us back home. This really will help keep you all active in our lives in a way.
